Loren and Aaron
Colors for your wedding: Dark gray bridesmaid dresses. Dark navy suits for the Groom/Groomsmen. Forest green tie and pocket square for Groom. Gray for the rest of the Groomsmen. Bright pinks, yellow, white, and orange, with lots of greenery for the flowers. Pewter gray table cloths with bright pink napkin. Small touches of green all throughout, including our sweet heart table wine glasses (Mr. and Mrs. Allen). Silver is the accent color, to pair with the grays.

Pets and their names?: We have a dog together that we adopted from the Humane Society. Her name is Zoey Allen. She is a Shiz Tuz - Havanese mix, according to our vet. She is now a certified therapy pet through the AKC (American Kennel Club) and performs therapy services for children, elderly, and the unwell of all ages, all across the Tampa Bay.
Story of the proposal: Over the course of their dating and falling deeply in love, they enjoyed sharing everything that they love, traveling adventures, big life-changes, exercise journey’s, cooking experiments, and creative projects. They thrive in each other’s company, blossom in each other’s spirit and support, and take root in each other’s passions, hopes, fears, successes and endeavors. And they realized a while back, that they wanted this to last for the rest of their lives.
On September 28, 2018, they were on a long weekend vacation with their puppy Zoey, hiking along the Raven Cliff Falls trail up through the Blue Ridge Mountains. They finally reached the end of the trail where the fresh glacier water flowed rapidly down the beautiful water falls of the North Georgian mountain cliff. With a look of deep, emotional love, Aaron got down on one knee and popped the question to Loren. She was holding Zoey’s leash standing up on a large, smooth boulder, with Aaron in front of her on his knee, asking for her hand in marriage and to be his wife.
It was the perfect moment. Time stood still as they were surrounded by the trickling sounds of the water fall, the gentle wind blowing through the tall trees, and the birds cheerfully chirping; and then the air was suddenly filled with Loren’s happy squeal of “YES!!”
The moments to follow were full of tears of joy, lots of laughter and giggling, as Loren bent forward to kiss Aaron with feverish excitement. In those split few moments, they both slipped a little and almost slid into the steam coming off of the waterfall in front of them. They laughed a little harder and took a sweet moment to look down at their puppy Zoey who was staring up at them with loving and adoring eyes, and they just knew they had made the best decision to become one, for the rest of their lives.
