Brooklyn + Shane

Why did you choose your venue?: Shane and I did long distance for a year, as he went to school in Tampa. On the weekend that we chose a year ago, my parents finally let me make the 14 hour trek to see him and, us being college students could only afford one nice dinner. We went to the Beachcomber and ate at Jimmy B's on the 19th and that is the day and location they chose. His best friend also passed away in the ocean in September and we wanted to have him with us on our day and are enabled to in this location.

Colors for your wedding?: A mixture. Gray blue is my main. Pink, maroon, and navy are also involved.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?: Not yet, but we are entertaining #Keepingupwiththekemps and #finderskempers

Do you both have pets?: Yes! Daisy and Luna. Daisy is the sweetest pit bull rescue you will ever meet. Luna is a white lab/German Shepard mix. We fostered Luna as a puppy this summer and couldn't return her.

Tell us a story of the proposal?: So while I was in Walmart shopping he went and bought a ring and proposed in the parking lot because he just wanted to be engaged. A week later he surprised me during our engagement photoshoot with his father (photographer for the wedding) with my real ring.
