A little over a year and a half into dating, Devin knew Ryan had a big birthday coming up and couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate him than to throw a SURPRISE party. Devin wanted to give him a night with all his favorite people to show him just a little bit of all of the love he gives to her but little did Devin know Ryan had been planning a pretty big surprise that night, too! After a fun night of celebrating Devin and Ryan went home and as usual Devin immediately changed into her pajamas while Ryan took out their dog Miko. Unbeknownst to be Devin, Ryan was busy inside hiding the engagement ring behind a pillow on the sofa. When they were both back in the living room Ryan called Devin over to thank her for the night which led into the proposal. After finally convincing Devin to stand up off his lap Ryan got down on one knee and pulled the ring out from behind the pillow as Devin began saying “you’re not doing this while I’m wearing my Pi Phi sweatpants and Shriners t-shirt!” He in fact was, and Devin said YES!

Devin and Ryan chose to get married at the Tampa Garden Club because of the location by the water and it also has inside and outside options. The colors for their New Years Eve wedding were black, gold, silver, and white. Their miniature schnauzer, Miko, unfortunately was not available that evening to attend the wedding. Congratulations! #ForTheWestOfOurLives
